It has been quite a year at A Legacy of Faith. We continue to be amazed by your encouragement, and we are thankful for you reading what we write and we just pray each post is encouraging to you.

As we begin a new year, we wanted to take one post to share some facts and figures from the previous year. Also, we will share our most-viewed posts of 2015. Finally, we will share our goals for the site in 2016.

2015 Goals in Review

We set several goals to strive to reach in this post as 2014 was winding down and 2015 beginning. Here’s how we did.

Email subscribers. We wanted to go over 1000 people who receive A Legacy of Faith each day through email. As of this writing, we hit that goal, with 1080.

Facebook fans. On this goal, we went lofty! We set the target at 1700. Though we fell short, we are still proud to be closing in on 1300. That’s almost 400 more than this time last year.

Podcast downloads. We wanted to average 600 per episode. With the stop and relaunch of our show, our numbers dropped off, but we are still averaging about 250 downloads each week. We want to get this number up (a lot) in the coming year, but we’re thankful for everyone who listens weekly.

2016 Goals

With those numbers in mind, here is what we want to accomplish in 2016.

Email subscribers. In many ways, this is the basis of what we do, so this is a major focus for us. We are setting this goal pretty high, but it’s attainable. We’d like to grow to 1500 email subscribers this year. By the way, if you would like to join this list and help us start toward that goal, here’s the link to do that.

Facebook fans. We, admittedly, do not utilize Facebook as well as we should, but appreciate all who like our page. It helps us reach more people when you do that. In 2016, we would like to have this number grow to over 1750. Here’s the link for that, if you want to join in.

Podcast downloads. This is the hardest to measure, but we really want this number to grow. We are setting the same goal we did last year, of having 600 downloads per week. If you are unfamiliar with our podcast, here is the link to our archives.
