9th Avenue Youth Rally One Month Away

The 9th Avenue church of Christ is very excited about hosting her annual youth rally on January 6-7, 2006. Brother Van Vanzandt from Leoma, Tennessee, will be the key-note speaker. You are invited and encouraged to attend.

The 9th Avenue church always provides breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as lodging on Friday night free of charge. The youth rally costs nothing to attend.

The rally’s theme this year is “If God Really Loves Me, Why Is My Life So Difficult?” We hope to address this theme through brother Vanzandt’s lessons, as well as through specially designed classes. There will also be a special series of classes for adults taught by brother Todd Clippard.

Our other classes are:
Young Men’s Class: Gavin McGee “When the Rules Seem Too Harsh”
Young Men’s Class: Gary Reeves “Avoiding Difficult Situations”
Young Ladies’ Class: Tiffany Gaines “Avoiding Difficult Situations”
Young Ladies’ Class: Erin McGee “Where is ‘The Line’?”
Combined Class: Charles Abernathy “Leaving Worldly Friends”
Combined Class: Josh Hardin “Dealing with Discouragement”

The rally will begin on Friday night at 6:00 and conclude at 8:45, then begin again on Saturday at 9:00 and conclude at 3:00.

Please remember to turn your registration information no later than December 28. This applies whether you are planning on spending the night or not. It will greatly help us plan our food for Saturday if you will help us by getting your number in by that date.

We look forward to seeing you in January!
