Book Review: "Searching for Truth"

The World Video Bible School has put out several DVDs dealing with the basics of the Gospel. Thus far, over 500,000 have been sent all over the world. Many of you have probably seen some of these videos.

John Moore has put together much of the material from the DVD transcripts into a study book that is perfect for reaching out to someone. The publishing of this book is very good. The pages are glossy, and the colors are bright. While it is the text of the book that is the best part, the book is very well done in its printing, too.

The 107-page book is divided into just five chapters, which deal with the creator, authority, the church, the house of God, and baptism. Each of these chapters is further divided into several brief sections that walk the reader through different aspects of the subject. Each section (and then each chapter) concludes with study questions, and each chapter has more verses for “digging deeper.” The book is truly useful.
