Bring Polishing the Pulpit with You!
A few weeks ago, dad wrote an article about Polishing the Pulpit (PTP). As a family, we have loved this event for many years now. Truthfully, of all the “extra” things that were cancelled due to covid in 2020, PTP was probably the one that hit our whole family the hardest.
Each year, we all enjoy dozens of lessons. This year, only three of us went, as Mary Carol had started school. Next year, it will just be Leah and me, but we have already made plans to go and we know we will be built up spiritually throughout the week.
However, in the 51 weeks in-between PTP 2024 and 2025, I am still being built up by PTP. How? It’s something you can do also…and it’s free!
Polishing the Pulpit is now on podcast!!!
Every lesson from the July PTP in Branson and the August PTP in Sevierville (the one we attended) are available. They even have ladies’ classes in a separate podcast feed so ladies can “binge listen” to those wonderful lessons.
So far, I have enjoyed listening to around 50 lessons (mostly from Branson) and I am absolutely loving the encouragement and the teaching of each one. As a podcast junkie, this is the perfect way for me to take in these lessons. I even unsubscribed to a couple of podcasts so I would make the time to listen to these great lessons.
All you have to do is go to your favorite podcast app and search “polishing the pulpit.” Your search results should yield a Branson podcast (with 356 lessons), a Branson ladies’ podcast (65 lessons), a Sevierville podcast (442 lessons), and a Sevierville ladies’ podcast (91 lessons).
Then…start listening and learning!
(NOTE: To show you how easy it is, here is the link to Sevierville’s feed on Spotify, but these are available on any podcast app. Personally, I listen on Pocket Casts.)
