Before getting to this week’s family links, we want to let you know that the next few weeks on our site are going to be a bit strange. Next week, we will probably only post 2 or 3 times at the most. What a wonderful week! The reason we have not posted is because our little family took a vacation! Our goal is to have some pictures of the trip sometime next week, but it was so great to get away for a few days. We appreciate you understanding that we didn’t post at all while we were gone. It’s always good to have one less thing to do on vacation! While we were away, we were blessed to have more people sign up to receive our blog through email. That’s right, today our kids finish up their year of school. While it seems that everyone else had about 183 days off for snow and ice this winter, we pushed on and are done as of today. I’m really proud of Mary Carol and Turner for their work this year, and there is no way I could be any more thankful for the great job Leah does in teaching the kids. So, it’s Lads to Leaders week around here. We are so excited about this annual event, and the young people from Lebanon Road have worked so hard. We are proud of Mary Carol and Turner for the work they have done, and we look forward to seeing so many of you this weekend. Tonight, I will be leading singing at Lads to Leaders for the late night Delta Fountain singing. This is always a great highlight, and it is an honor to lead. So, we haven’t posted since last week’s “finds.” We were involved in a Gospel Meeting in Jasper, Alabama with the 6th Avenue Church of Christ. We had a tremendous time there, and were so encouraged by those good folks. During the week, we were blessed to see 2 precious young people put Christ on in baptism, and there were 7 others who responded during the week seeking prayers of forgiveness and/or encouragement.
