Coming Next Monday…
On our most recent “Legacy of Faith” podcast, Leah and I took some time to talk about two projects that we are working on; one from each of us. We are very excited to be doing these things and we are praying that what we are trying to do will be a blessing to you in your Bible study. In case you missed that episode of the podcast, I’m taking my post today to let you know about these two things, both of which start next Monday, October 14.
“Into the Heart of the Bible” (Leah)
Leah has had a desire for some time to do something to help teach the Bible to ladies online. We worked together to think about this and figure out the best way to do it. While we know there will be some (okay, a lot) of quirks and kinks to work through, she is going to be doing a weekly video lesson for ladies entitled “Into the Heart of the Bible.”
These lessons, which are designed to be about 10 minutes each, are going to be in-depth studies. The first series she is working on deals with an overview of the chronology of the Bible. Once that series is complete (which will be several months in length), she is planning on diving into specific books or texts of the Bible.
In addition, she is working hard on providing additional resources–from video links to worksheets to quotes and more–that will be available on her Instagram feed.
The videos will be released on Mondays on both her YouTube and Instagram feeds.

“Something from the Margin of My Bible” (Adam)
During the pandemic, I started a video series called “Margin Notes” that ran for quite awhile. After some time, though, it became more than I could handle. However, I still have had a desire to share those types of things in some format.
So, I am launching a new podcast that will be very short, but hopefully helpful to your study. Each week, the podcast, “Something from the Margin of My Bible,” will deliver just that: a short note you might want to consider to put in your Bible. Each episode will only be about 3-4 minutes in length, because these are meant to be snippets–not full Bible studies.
The podcast will also begin next Monday and will continue weekly. Since the podcast isn’t live yet, we do not have a live feed to share. But when it begins, the first episode will be here, and (we hope) on all major platforms.
So…About the Family Podcast and YouTube Channels…
They aren’t gone. We have decided to continue our family podcast, but probably about once per month. As for the YouTube channel, it was a good idea, but maybe a little too ambitious. We will probably still post things from time-to-time (so subscribe for when we do), but it isn’t a good time for us to continue it with regularity right now.
We hope these new projects help you, and we look forward to next Monday, when both get underway!
