Finished: "Between Two Worlds"

I “had to” read John R.W. Stott’s book on preaching, Between Two Worlds, when I was in graduate school (a serious “thank you” to Dr. Billy Smith).

I decided to read it again last week and am glad I did. If you are a preacher and have never read this book in word-for-word fashion, may I recommend it to you? There are several things you may not agree with, but Stott’s obvious love for preaching will excite and motivate you to do your best in all areas of the work.

I decided not to do a full “review” of this book, since it is so “preacher-specific.” If you have read the book, share your thoughts on it in the comments.

I read the book years ago having just graduated from the Brown Trail School of Preaching and recommended it to my son before he went to the Memphis School of Preaching.

Sounds like you are me in some of the books I had to read for school, a quick go over. I was always too busy reading what I wanted too.
