Friday Links Roundup: B-day Party Edition

In a couple of hours, we are headed to Lawrenceburg for Lyssabeth Tatum’s first birthday party. We’re excited about seeing our family for a day or so, and it’ll be a great party. I hope to take and post some pictures of my family on the party.

On to the links for this week:

1. Do you want to change the world? Whitticisms shows us that it will not happen through politics. This is a great post!

2. I love posts that remind us to encourage elders (and others, too). Phil Sanders gives us this great reminder this week.

3. Following on the encouragement theme, Dale Jenkins reminds us that encouraging others is easier than ever with technology.

4. Death is a difficult subject to preach on, but it is a Biblical subject. It is something we must try to grasp, and we need to preach and teach on it. Wayne Jackson provides us with “The Divine View of Death.”

5. Need an idea for a gift to a family with a newborn? Becky Welch gives a great idea (complete with pictures). With 5 babies getting ready to be at Lebanon Road, we need all the ideas we can get!!!

We hope you have a great weekend. Don’t forget the Lord on His day!
