Friday Links Roundup: Mission Trip Edition
A group from Lebanon Road leaves tomorrow morning for a mission trip to Winder, Georgia. There is a great group going, with 23 from our congregation! J.D. is in charge, and has put in many hours of preparation. The group will be doing some physical work during the day, and then holding a Vacation Bible School in the evenings. Please pray for them as they travel and as they work. We know they will do a great job.
Speaking of VBS, ours is coming up soon:
We hope you will plan to come and be with us! (More about that in the coming weeks.)
On to the links for this week.
1. Michael Jackson at Christian Cornucopia presents a brief article sharing some research about “Evangelists in the Early 1800s.”
2. Matthew Morine presents a personal history that should encourage each of us to stick to it with those we study and encourage. Read “Who Conned Who?”
3. Phil Sanders presents an article dealing with faith versus doubt entitled “Faithspeak.”
4. Steve Higginbotham presents an absolute MUST read about Christians and the prom. This article is not only well-written, but also loving and Biblical.
I hope you have a great weekend. We are looking forward to Heather Everson, Leah’s sister, coming to visit this weekend.
Don’t forget the Lord on His day.
