Friday Round-Up: A Little Bit of Everything

I thought you might want some good stuff to read this weekend, so I’ve put together a little set of links for you to see.

First, here are some links to some good articles posted this week on some of my favorite blogs:

  1. My brother-in-law, Jeremiah Tatum, presents the brief article “What, Not When” on his blog: Ancient Words (which is doing very well in its first few weeks).
  2. Joey Sparks writes an excellent article on “An Attendance Problem” that really gets to the point of why people will willfully miss worship privileges.
  3. Dale Jenkins reminds us to “Not Waste Blood” in a thought-provoking article.

Next, I thought I’d share a couple of resources for those of you who are bloggers. I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve this blog, so I come across good stuff every so often.

  1. First, in this PDF e-book, John Chow shares some blogging basics that can lead to your blog making money. Considering my last check on my Google AdSense account, I don’t follow these very well, but you could help with that with just one click of your mouse……
  2. Next, Matt Huggins has done some serious research on blogging. He presented an article that has been making the rounds. It contains links to 55 articles every serious blogger should read.

Finally, I signed up for a new feature on my computer that gives me a chance to make a little (very little, but, hey) mad money just for surfing the web. It’s a small toolbar/search engine that sits at the bottom of my computer screen. It’s called Agloco. You get paid for surfing and for referring people to use the product and, best of all, it’s free. To sign up, please follow this link so I can get credit for the referral.

Have a great weekend reading some great material!

A Legacy of Faith exists to help families survive the day, plan for tomorrow, and always keep an eye on eternity. If you choose to print one of our articles in another publication (e.g., church bulletin), please give credit to the author and provide a link to the article's url. Thank you.
