Lebanon Road Report (April 13)
Another great Sunday! We had 322 in attendance, and 286 were present for Bible class. Those numbers are down just a bit, but they are still quite good. We had many visitors on our first Sunday, so it wasn’t a big shock that our attendance was down some, but we aren’t going to rest on our laurels! We are going to work and grow here at Lebanon Road.
It was a joy to begin teaching a Bible class. I am teaching the “Young” Adults (35-50) in the fellowship hall. We are taking a look at Nehemiah under the title “A Mind to Work.” Our goal in the class is to focus on the leadership qualities found throughout the book.
Yesterday was Leah’s birthday, and we went out to eat at Olive Garden. She is a special lady, and I am truly blessed to have her as my wife. In honor of her birthday, I preached a sermon on Proverbs 31 last night.
If you are near Nashville, we’d love to have you come by. I begin teaching the auditorium class on Wednesday night. We will be looking at John’s account of the Gospel.
