Missing the Real Issue, But a Step in the Right Direction

Many have been turned off to the internet because of the amount of filth that is so readily available. It seems that every conceivable vice has a niche on the ‘net.

However, many industry insiders are starting to crack down on certain of these sinful behaviors. Most recently, several companies (including AOL, Yahoo and Google) announced that they are working with the US government to cut down on the availability of child pornography on the internet. Google even went so far as to say that it has a “zero-tolerance policy” in this area.

So, why the title of this post? Isn’t it good that these companies are cracking down on this sick and sinful practice? Of course, it is. But, until we help people change their minds and hearts, such things will never stop. The Bible teaches, “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). We much change the inner man if we ever hope to change the behavior of man.

Friends, those in the world are searching, and they are looking in all the wrong places. There is a terrible void in so many hearts that needs to be filled with the Good News of Jesus Christ. If you are searching for His love, please let us help you! If He can save a sinner like me, He can help you, too.

Only when His love is known to all people will problems like this ever be “no more.”
