Science? or Pep Rally?

The AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) wants evolution to be taught in schools. They do not see ID (intelligent Design) as science. And they are even willing to turn science into a one-sided pep rally for evolution.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch ran a story on Sunday covering the group’s latest meeting. Please take a moment and read the story, which can be accessed by clicking here.

I know I am not a scientist, but I was always taught that science accepts all data and then forms an hypothesis, not vice versa. It seems that these scientists are desperate to hang onto their long-held beliefs and are not willing to accept other data.

So, are they really scientists? Whether they are or not, they are the ones writing your children’s textbooks. How truly sad.
