Some Website to Add to "My Favorites" (originally published August 15, 2005)
I do a lot of research on the internet. Many of you do the same. Here are some sites you can use to help prepare sermons, Bible school lessons or devotionals:
www.9thavenuecofc.org You can listen to sermons preached over the past 12 months or you can download them to burn to CD.
www.christiancourier.com A great site with literally hundreds of articles on all sorts of Biblical topics. One of my favorite features is the section at the bottom of the homepage that displays Christian headlines.
www.apologeticspress.org If you are familiar with their work, you know what a valuable resource this site is.
www.preachersfiles.com Has many sermon outlines (a couple that I have used), and they are building a daily Bible study section.
www.burlesonchurchofchrist.org There are dozens of articles that are great for personal study or to use in bulletins.
www.oldpaths.com Literally hundreds of articles and great information. You can listen to an audio recording of Marshall Keeble’s famous “There’s Water in the Plan” sermon here, too. To give you an idea of how much “stuff” is here, there are 78 articles just by one author: T. Pierce Brown.
Hope these help you in your study.
