If I Could Fix College Football
I have favorite teams in nearly every sport. I pull for those teams above any other. However, for a long time I have had a soft spot for the underdog. I love watching the “little teams” in college sports break through. Last year, I was one of the folks who thought that TCU deserved to play for the BCS national championship game. Win or lose the game, I felt like they deserved to be there. This year, I am fully on the Boise State bandwagon, and hope TCU has another year like last year. Friday Links Roundup: Tell Someone Edition
Yep, it’s time for a shameless plug of our blog. The number of “hits” we get each day are far better than they were a year ago, but, over the last couple of months, they have stagnated. We aren’t about just getting numbers on the blog, but it is encouraging to see more folks coming and seeing what’s here. That’s where you come in. I often speak about the…

College Football Preview 2009
So, I know you’ve been sitting around, just wondering who’s going to be good and bad in college football this year. Well, wait no longer! Here is my conference breakdown, then the other stuff to see. ACC Champ: Virginia Tech over Florida State in the title game. Disappointment: Clemson. Again. Big East Champ: Rutgers, if it really matters. This conference should be called “Land of the 7-5 Teams.” Disappointment: Cincinnati. Some have the Bearcats winning. I think they finish in the middle of the muddle. Big 10/11 Champ: Ohio State. Penn State has a one-game schedule…and they lose it. Disappointment: Michigan State. Possible up-and-coming year ends up in usual 7-5…
