On Sunday, our summer camp begins. At Lebanon Road, we hold our own camp at Valley View. Nearly every camper is from Lebanon Road (there are a few visitors and some folks from Pearlington, Mississippi, as well) and virtually the entire staff is from our congregation, too. We provide the counselors, cooks, clean-up crew, teachers, lifeguard…the whole leadership except for our nightly speakers. It is a huge undertaking, but one that always yields a great “harvest” among our young people. Our theme for 2010 is “Wii Believe,” and our themes will be, of course, from the Nintendo Wii.
