We're Not Alone

According to a recent survey, this is not the only blog on the internet! I know that’s hard to believe, but there are hundreds of thousands of others.

However, it is interesting that, according to the survey, the majority of blogs are simply used for personal online diaries. There are far fewer that are for a specific purpose, such as this one is. We hope that this helps people find our blog. People are looking for things with a purpose, so maybe more people will want to read the articles and news clips we provide on here. Speaking of news clips…

Thank you, President Bush, for upholding the sanctity of life! Yesterday, President Bush used the first veto of his presidency to thwart a bill that would have increased funding for embryonic stem cell research. The use of these tiny babies as test subjects is wrong, and Christians should be thankful that the President was willing to make this stand!

This veto is not going to stop people from working with embryos, though. The Universtiy of Minnesota said that it will continue to do so, and will, in fact, expand it’s work. To read about this, click here.

Read the article from Apologetics Press which is found here. It explains some of the ethical questions in the use of embryonic stem cells.
