Youth Minister's Newsletter's Second Issue to be Released

Last month, we told you about a new (free) publication for youth ministers. Those who work with young people in the area where we live have put together a 10-page monthly newsletter sent via email in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format. The newsletter’s first issue was received by over 50 people and has gotten great comments from youth ministers, Bible class teachers and preachers alike. Here are some of those comments:

  • “I just opened the newsletter and really appreciate the work that y’all put into it. I’m excited about receiving it in the future. Thanks for the new resource.” –Barton
  • “This is great. I read every word. You all did an outstanding job, and it is much needed in the brotherhood. I can’t wait until the next issue.” –Larry Davenport
  • “Thanks for doing this. I will be a great source of encouragement.” –David Falkenheim
  • “…I really did enjoy it. You did an outstanding job….Please know that you will be involved in spreading God’s Word in Rogersville, AL.” –Larry Wilson

The second issue is almost ready to be released, and should be sent out either Friday or Monday. If you would like to receive the newsletter, please email Kurt Hankins at kurt@vernon-churchofchrist.org. Brother Hankins is in charge of putting together our mailing list.

As mentioned before, the newsletter was sent to over 50 people in its first month. This second issue is already to be sent to over 120 people. If you would like to receive it, please send your request by Thursday. We hope to continue putting information in your hands that can help you serve God and that can aid you in leading young people to Him each day.
