End of the Decade: Top Posts EVER on A Legacy of Faith
Since we are ending the 2010s (can you believe that?) we thought it might be fun to share the top posts that have ever been presented on our site. These rankings are from Google analytics and stretch across the past 10 years.
Since we are ending 2019, here are the top 19 posts EVER from A Legacy of Faith.
19. Thursday Hymn Reflection: “There’s a Rainbow in the Cloud” (July 29, 2010). It is fitting that the first post on our countdown is a hymn reflection. As you will see, a staggering eight of our top 19 are from these series of posts we did years ago!
18. A Tribute to Christian Mothers for Mother’s Day (May 8, 2014)
17. Living a Double Life (March 1, 2018)
16. 10 Reasons I’m Proud to be a Member of the Church of Christ (May 3, 2017)
15. Hymn Reflection: “Shall We Gather at the River” (August 9, 2013)
14. Thursday Hymn Reflections: “Ancient Words” (January 14, 2010). This is the oldest post on our list…going back to just a couple of weeks into the decade.
13. If Satan Can Convince You That You are Not Happy… (September 11, 2018)
12. Hymn Reflection: “Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)” (June 28, 2013)

6. Marriage is More Than a Commitment; Marriage is a Covenant (February 24, 2016)
5. An Open Letter to the 4th Avenue Church of Christ (December 4, 2014). This post was easily–by far and away–our most-viewed post on publishing day, but the ones above it have just maintained more views over time.
4. The Scar on My Finger (June 18, 2018)
3. If a Shooter Came to Church (November 7, 2017)
2. The Problem with “Sending Prayers Your Way” (December 7, 2016)
- Hymn Reflection: “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us” (July 5, 2013). This post gets looked almost every single day, and days with 20+ views are still not uncommon.
As always, we enjoy doing this for you and we thank you. Well over 2000 people now receive our daily emails and our “open rate” is insane compared to what experts say is good.
We’re going to take next week off for Christmas, and we’ll see you back on Monday, December 30 as we prepare to roll into a new decade!
