“Greater Things” Thursday #29: Teachers’ Workshop

The Bible school program at Lebanon Road is wonderful! Our teachers do a great job, and many of our ladies help make sure that our teachers have materials ahead of time, so they can be prepared with stories, games, crafts, and other materials to make our classes informative and engaging for our students.

But teachers need encouragement, too. So, one of our new works for this year is a teachers’ workshop. It is this Saturday, and it is going to be great. We are pleased to have Dwina Willis and Becky Welch coming to speak to our preschool and elementary teachers. Also, some of our ladies will be sharing some new technology tools that we have implemented at Lebanon Road (that we’ll feature in this series in the near future).

I’m thankful to say that some of our members have volunteered to provide free child care, and others are making a wonderful lunch (again, free of charge) for the day. We hope our teachers gain great encouragement and information from the day. I’m thankful that our elders have seen fit to allow for such a day, as they continue to want our Bible school program to be the best it can be.
