Legacy Recipe: Lasagnaoli

For those of you who are used to reading Mom’s delicious recipes, don’t be offended at the ease of this recipe! This one is for those of us who need a faster, easier way to make traditional tasting meals. My oldest, Luke, got to come home for a few days from his summer internship and requested this for one of his “home-cooked” dinners. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 package frozen ravioli (you can change up the flavor; we prefer spinach or cheese)

1 pound of ground beef, browned with onion

1 jar of spaghetti sauce (we like the mushroom)

1 8 oz. package of shredded mozzarella

Cottage cheese to taste

*Optional: frozen shredded spinach

Spray the bottom of a casserole dish and line the bottom with ravioli. Combine the sauce with the ground beef and use half to add a layer on top of the ravioli. (Add spinach if you wish.) Dot with cottage cheese and top with half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
