Pictures of Our Columbus Trip, and a Preview for Next Week

This week, our family had a great time in Columbus, Georgia. It was a very busy trip, but tons of good things happened. I was holding a Gospel Meeting for the Edgewood Church of Christ, and the week was full and rich!

First, I spoke some 11 times during the four days, so I am a bit drained. However, the congregation was gracious enough to allow me to have some time with Leah and the kids, so we took several outings during the day to museums and other places. We were also blessed to spend quite a lot of time with David, Rachel, Micah, and Sarah Dixon. David preaches for a sister congregation in Columbus, and our families had a ball together!

Enjoy a video of just some of what we did, then we have a very exciting announcement about next week on the blog.

Special Announcement: “Purity Week”

Next week, we are planning a special series of posts on our blog that I hope you will enjoy and share. We are calling it “Purity Week,” and the posts will all deal with sexuality and purity. The posts will be released on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (we are skipping Tuesday because our monthly newsletter will come out that day), and I hope you will bookmark our site, or just subscribe (for free) to get all the posts of “Purity Week!” This is a subject that has been on my mind a lot lately, and I pray these posts will help you in your daily walk, whether you are a young person in this impure world, a single adult who struggles to remain pure with all the temptations around you, or someone who is married and fighting for your marriage.
