Take Better Notes [Video]
My friend Chad Landman makes videos every few weeks designed for youth ministers, but I love watching them. He does a great job describing some tips and tools to help in ministry. His latest video is great for anyone who wants to know how to use a couple of the most popular organization programs, Dropbox and Evernote. I think you’ll find it useful. Personally, I rarely use Dropbox, but Chad provides a great way to use both of these tools. Enjoy! —————————————– To receive our blog posts via rss, click here. To subscribe via email, click here. Wednesday List: My Current iPhone Apps
I like technology, but I’ll admit that I have no idea how any of it works. I learn a few simple (and I mean simple) steps, and let them help me. While I try out several technologies, I spend very little money, and keep only what helps me. For our list this week, I’m listing the apps I use on my iPhone. PAGE ONE PingChat. Everything you put into Evernote then becomes fully searchable (by title, by tags, and by text), and you can retrieve this information anywhere you can be online. There is the…

What can be stored? Here’s a partial list: Text notes pdf files pictures audio tweets from Twitter web addresses web clips So what? Can’t you just save those on your computer? iPreach Request
This Friday, Lord willing, iPreach will deal with a very specific topic. Because we will be focused on such a narrow subject, we need input! Dale Jenkins and I will be discussing the program Evernote, and how it can be used by preachers and churches. I use it for several purposes, and am growing more and more fond of it all the time. Here is where we need help. If you use this program, you can help us in one of two ways: 1. We could use you as a guest if you are willing and able. We plan to record around 10AM Central on Friday. We would love to…
