Next Week is Seven Good Things Week!

I preach, teach, visit, and interact at Lebanon Road, which is a joy every day!

I am a husband and father, which blesses my life in ways that simply cannot be described!

And, since you are reading this, you know that I blog, too, which I greatly enjoy.

However, there are other good works that I am involved in, and I want to let you know about them. It seems that a few have come my way just in the last few weeks, and I’ve been trying to figure out a way to share information about these good things in an organized way.

So, next week is going to be “Seven Good Things Week” here on the blog. There is no way we can share every good thing we know about, but we have chosen seven to share with you, one each day, to encourage you. Simply put, this week is “A week of encouraging works!”

Of course, one of those Good Things will be the Faughn Family Podcast, which will release episode #3 on Thursday! We are so grateful for the reception that our podcast has had over its first month. (As we release this post, we are still in the Top 10 New and Noteworthy lists for both “Kids and Family” and “Religion and Spirituality” despite not releasing a program in a month! That is truly amazing.) We could not have imagined how well-received the show would be, and we are grateful for your help in getting the word out. If you are not familiar with our podcast, check out more information here.

We know that, in our world today, there just does not seem to be good and encouraging news. So, we hope you are looking forward to “Seven Good Things Week,” and we hope that, by sharing these with  you, you will not only learn about more good resources, but you will be encouraged by just a handful of the countless good works being done to promote the cause of Christ and share His message throughout the world.
