FHU Bible Lectures #9
Tuesday, 2:30, Auditorium B Marlin Connelly is continuing to walk through themes to preach from Ecclesiastes. Today’s lesson deals with a very modern need: money. Solomon wrote much about the subject that needs to be preached. 5:10ff has so much material. Lebanon Road folks will probably hear some of this in the not-so-distant future! The best line from the lecture was, “When you live above your income, there’s no question about your outcome.”. Wise!!!

FHU Bible Lectures #8
Tuesday, 1:30, Loyd Auditorium Dan Jenkins, from Palm Beach Lakes, Florida, is beginning a series today discussing Psalm 139. One of the grand things about this 24-verse Psalm is how it reminds us of many of God’s awesome attributes. Brother Jenkins has been assigned verses 1-12, wherein we learn more of God’s omniscience. Specifically, we are being reminded that God knows us personally because He is everywhere, knows us, and He cares. I love hearing brother Dan speak because his lectures are deeply grounded in the Bible. He does a masterful job of comparing the text under consideration with texts throughout the pages of God’s Book.

FHU Bible Lectures #6: Tuesday's First Post
Tuesday, 8:30, auditorium B What a great reminder! Using the 50th Psalm, we are being reminded of how man shoud put our heart in our worship. Worship should not just be a habit! We do not give God anything He does not already have, but He still desires our thanksgiving, praise, and our calling out to Him. The overall thrust of the lecture is that the heart that worships cannot “mix” in a hypocritical heart. Speaker: Kirk Brothers

FHU Bible Lecture #3
Marlin Connelly began a series on preaching Ecclesiates this afternoon. A rich introduction to the four-part series. My favorite part was his comparison of Proverbs & Ecclesiastes to a “bowl of marbles” on first glance. He is challenging us to see far more, and is doing a great job of it.
