Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {The Final Edition}
Yesterday on our podcast, we made some announcements about the future of A Legacy of Faith. One thing we are trying constantly to do is to make sure we are reaching as many people as we can and providing engaging material. So, yesterday, we released the final episode of our podcast. That will be replaced on Thursdays with blog articles. Throughout May, Adam will write those posts and then, starting in June, Donna, Amber, and Leah will write on rotation. We hope this gives the blog, as Leah put it on the podcast, a “feminine touch,” starting with those June posts. Another change is being made today. This will be…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {April 24, 2015 edition}
Isn’t this an amazing time of year? The weather where we are has been gorgeous. A bit rainy, but that’s just to be expected. Then, some of our friends up north are still experiencing snow! It is just a reminder of how unpredictable things are, but also how great it is to live in a world with variety. This week, we take a moment to thank our Patreon supporters again. These individuals contribute at least $5 each month to help us offset the cost of producing our site, blog, and podcast. Thank you to Debbie Hallman, Janis Taylor, Faapisa, and Brad Toy for supporting our work! If you would like…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {April 17, 2015 edition}
As I type this, it is raining…again. They say that April showers bring May flowers. If that is true, everything in this part of the country should have a bloom on it next month. It has rained constantly, but all that is good and helps us appreciate days when the sun shines. On to this week’s family links. This Week’s Finds Press On Moms: The Pew Training Battles {There’s an App for That}. Moms who bring children to worship and help train them are doing a great work. This post encourages them to keep it up! Family Conversations around the Table {for the family}. We all know that talking around…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {April 10, 2015 edition}
Spring has sprung, and pollen is everywhere! The beauty around us this time of year is so wonderful. Blooms and buds are so wonderful, the garden is starting to have some plants break through, and the grass is getting really green. How could anyone look at the beauty around them this time of year and not contemplate how wonderfully creative and powerful God is? “The heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1), and the Spring plants echo the same message! On to this week’s family links. Since we skipped posting last Friday due to Lads to Leaders, we have a huge number of family links for you to enjoy this weekend!…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {March 27, 2015 edition}
It has been a wonderful week! While you may not have known it from our blog or social media involvement, we have actually been on vacation the last few days. And when I saw “we,” I mean all of the members of A Legacy of Faith! We enjoyed a couple of days together in the Smokey Mountains and just got to be together and do family stuff. It was wonderful. Still, we tried to deliver articles each day and we hope you enjoyed the posts we published during the week. With that said, on to this week’s family links. This Week’s Finds Parents Matter {Matthew’s Musings}. The title of this…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {March 20, 2015 edition}
Once each month, we take this space to thank our Patreon supporters. We are so thankful that these individuals support our work at A Legacy of Faith. We have said before that this is something we greatly enjoy doing, but it does take money to run all the things associated with A Legacy of Faith. The helps of our supporters is very much appreciated. Those who contribute at least $5 each month to our work are Debbie Hallman, Janis Taylor, and Faapisa. For their contributions each month, we say a heart-felt “Thank You!” Now, on to our family links for this week. This Week’s Finds An Easy Way to Do…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {March 13, 2015 edition}
Each week, we bring you lots of links on these Friday posts. While our number of “hits” on these posts is not usually what we get for a regular post, we still enjoy sharing all this great content with you on a weekly basis. But before we get to this week’s family links, we want to just share a thank you. Each week, we cull through dozens of articles that are great and one of the more difficult things we have to do each week is decide what to include in our links. So, we just want to say “thank you” to all the great writers and bloggers who continue…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {March 6, 2015 edition}
A few weeks ago, we started a little experiment with this weekly family links post. We tried adding a new section called “From the Twitter Timeline” where we linked to posts that were not necessarily family related, but still helpful. This week, we have decided to remove that extra section, with the desire of focusing again on family related posts. That said, we are still wanting to give you lots of family links for your weekend reading, so we are going to tweak things yet again. Our plan for the next few weeks is to “supersize” our list of links, and to give you a very short description of each…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {February 27, 2015 edition}
I know this is going to make me sound really old, but can you believe we are one day from being done with two months of this year already? We are just one day from finishing February and beginning March. Just amazing. As usual, we have a great group of family links for you this week, and we hope you enjoy each one! By the way, it is just by coincidence that three of the posts this week are lists of 10. I like lists, but that’s a bit odd. Oh well. On to the family links. This Week’s Finds What Moms Should Teach Their Sons to Look for in…

Friday’s Family Friendly Finds {February 20, 2015 edition}
If you have not been online much lately, let me give you a quick update from seemingly every person on Facebook: “Brrrr.” Now, you are caught up with all the news! This week, before getting to our family links, we want to say “Thank you” to our Patreon supporters! Those who pledge at least $5 each month to our work at A Legacy of Faith get their name mentioned in a Friday post at least once each month. This is the first installment of that practice, and we are thankful to have two who are supporting us at that level. They are Debby Hallman and Janis Taylor. From all of…
