Some years in the past, we have had huge give-away days with clothes, furniture, and other items. However, over the past few years, the day has changed somewhat, and it is very effective. They usually go late in July, as the final “big” event before school starts back. This year, our group leaves this Saturday, and will return in the middle of next week. When I first moved here, I was confused. You see, for years, I had attending camp and there were campers and counselors from several different congregations. Welcome to our first monthly “links review.” If you are new to our blog, for several years we had a “Friday Links Roundup” each week. However, I recently realized that I was doing more reading only to find posts for the roundup, instead of reading for my own growth and information. So, we have decided to do this only monthly. The results have been fantastic. I was able to add feeds to my rss reader, and feel as if I could read them whenever I wished.
