Friday Links Roundup: 317 Edition

March Madness is underway. Thursday was a great day of hoops. If it is any indication, we are looking forward to another great tournament.

Part of the greatness of March is how unpredictable it is. Millions of people fill out brackets each year, trying to predict the tournament based upon any number of factors (strength of schedule, color of uniform, flip of a coin, etc.). Almost no one ever gets it totally correct. On ESPN’s website this year, over 5.8million brackets were filled out before Thursday’s games began. With all the upsets yesterday, just 317 remain perfect!

Get ready for more madness, and enjoy the tournament!

On to the links for this week:

1. Brad Montague put a neat picture on the Go! blog this week. As one who likes to study time management (and wishes I had it figured out!), I loved this picture. Take a look at “Ben Franklin’s Daily Schedule.”

2. This time of year, many are on short-term mission trips. Lots of students, especially, are taking trips over Spring Break to help spread the Gospel and help the hurting. It is amazing to see the results. For one really cool story, enjoy Tony Johnson’s post “What God Will Do.”

3. This post from Roger Johnson is simple, but I think it’s a great illustration. Enjoy “More is Better?

4. Ever feel overwhelmed? (I know…dumb question.) We all are running around all the time. Take a moment and read “Life in Survival Mode” from Cindy Colley.

We hope you have a great weekend. We are in Paducah visiting family. Tonight, we will attend the annual singing at the Central church of Christ in Paducah. Tomorrow, we are planning to attend the West Kentucky Leadership Workshop in Briensburg. These two events are always on the same weekend, and we love making this an annual trip to Kentucky.

We are looking forward to being back in Nashville Saturday night and worshiping at Lebanon Road Sunday. No matter where you are, make sure you worship the Lord on His Day.
