    Legacy Recipe: Italian Soup [Free Printable]

    This polar vortex is not for wimps! Maybe the cold weather has made you wish for a new soup recipe in order to get warm. This one is a hybrid of some recipes I looked at and then adapted. Hope you enjoy! Ingredients: 1 pkg. kielbasa sausage (I use turkey) 1-2 pkgs. frozen cheese tortellini 1 box chicken broth 1 can tomato sauce 1 can tomato soup ½ pkg. frozen chopped spinach Italian seasoning In a large stock pot (or insta-pot) sauté bite-sized pieces of  ½ the sausage until browned.     Holiday Traditions (with Free Recipe for Hot Onion Dip)

    I’ve really enjoyed the fact that Thanksgiving was a little earlier this year. It allowed for some extra time in November to think about the things I needed to get done before Christmas rolls around. We have some family traditions that seem to happen every year when the Christmas holiday is held at our home. (We alternate holidays at our house, Thanksgiving one year and Christmas the next, so that all of our family can be together.) This is our year for Christmas, and we are really looking forward to it.     It Really Is Spring…And That Means… [Free Printable Recipe]

    I know some of us have been wondering what is happening with our weather. It is the middle of April and we still have snow, ice, and freeze warnings here in Kentucky.
