    How Not to Get Involved

    I recently visited a website that I’ve never visited before and don’t plan to visit again. It was the website for Planned Parenthood. For those who may be uninformed, Planned Parenthood supports, performs, and receives generous financial support for aborting infants. According to Planned Parenthood’s annual report for the 2012-2013, they performed 327,166 abortions. Their total revenue for this period of time was a little over $1 billion (yes, that’s a “b”) including $540.6 million from “Government Health Services Grants and Reimbursements.” As I looked at their website, I was especially interested in the tab that was labeled “Get Involved.” Here are the ways they suggested a person could get…

    Planned Parenthood and Our Tax Request

    In 2012, the organization Planned Parenthood received a record-high amount of federal money, provided from tax payers. The amount, which was over $500,000,000, was the most the organization had ever received from the federal government, and was an 11% increase over 2011. Of course, this group is most well-known for being quite ironically named. In reality, the group should be called “Planned Unparenthood,” since they provide more abortions than any other organization in our nation.     I love numbers. Yes, I liked the TV show (Numb3rs) when it first started, but I’m just talking about numbers in general. I’m a sports stat freak, and I like math quite a bit.
