A couple of weeks ago, I preached a sermon dealing with the difficult subject of transgenderism. The topic had been requested by several people of various ages, so I decided to tackle it. Preparing to Worship on Christmas
If I am correct, 2022 marks the third time since I began preaching that Christmas Day falls on a Sunday. (If you haven’t bought gifts yet, you’ve only got a week and a half!) It is interesting to watch on those days to see how families–especially those with young children–handle this situation. Saying “No” for a Reason
There is an old principle that I have heard, I suppose, for my entire life, but it has never really sunk in until recently. It is hard to watch, read, or scan the news and not see some story or headline about parents. Maybe it has to do with school curricula. Maybe it has to do with the medical establishment. It’s Sunday Morning; Do You Know Where Your Children Are?
Some of us may remember a message that would appear on our television screens almost every (if not all) evening. As I remember it, just as the 10:00 pm news came on, these words would appear: It’s 10:00. Do you know where your children are? I guess that some people would say that I grew up in the dark ages. A new elementary school opened just as I was old enough to attend.
